Nothing in the world makes my heart rate quicken like the thought of kissing. The sad thing is I'm not sure if it is an arousal response, or absolute dread. It's not that I dislike smooching; I have never been convinced I know how to do it. It would be so much easier if everyone kissed the same way. There are so many different approaches. Some people are direct enough to ask if they may kiss you. The playful ones make it seem like they're really that close for some other reason and wham! Lip lock. The casual ones lean in little by little and act like since they're already right there they might as well kiss you. Thank goodness that there are a handful of go getters out there who will just grab your head and lay one on you that you can feel the whole way to your knees. *Sigh*

First kisses are the best, or the worst, I'm not sure. I've had some really fantastic first kisses. My very first kiss was in the woods behind the church during a softball game while I was looking for a foul ball with the third base man. He actually only made it to first that evening, but he gets an A+ for effort. In college I had a body guard, it was his duty to see me home safely and keep me from making foolish decisions while intoxicated that was the plan until he hauled me into the bushes anyway, oh my heck he was good. My all time favorite, never to be matched first kiss was beside a fire on the bank of a pond in the middle of nowhere, it was one of those casual deals, I wasn't sure if he would actually do it or not.

If a gal can keep her wits about her and pay attention during that first kiss she can get a pretty good idea what sex will be like with the fella she's swappin' spit with. You better have some free time if you've got a playful man on your hands, it could take all afternoon. Same with the direct guys, they'll want to make sure they've completely satisfied you. The casual guys might do you today, might do you next week, all depends on how things go. If you're lucky enough to get a hold of a true head grabber, get ready to be fucked silly, it will be fast, and it will be hard, but oh cripes it will be good.

So, everyone, grab your Chapstick and your Certs and get out there! The day's a wastin'!

Better Than Sex Cake?

The in-laws are coming over for dinner today, so I'm surfing the net looking for a dessert recipe, something different, something easy, something good. Found a recipe for "better than sex cake." Well now. Really? I like cake, never had any kind of cake that I couldn't finish, the whole cake I mean, not just my piece. Honestly, I'm more of a pie person, especially peach; a deep dish peach pie is like an orgasm in a Pyrex dish. The concept of a cake that's better than sex really has my attention today. I will make this cake of course, after I run to the store and buy sour cream, and pudding, oh and cake mix. (Yes the cake contains pudding and sour cream, sounds gosh darn decadent, but better than sex?) The in-laws coming for dinner was sprung on me this morning, so I'm ill prepared. My in-laws are truly wonderful and I love having people over for dinner, but not on Sunday, during race season. If they'd come over yesterday, I would have made a deep dish peach pie.

The hardest part of anything I do, is getting started, actually getting something out of my head and into the physical world. Several months ago I left the corporate world to stay home, where I'm needed most right now. Seemed like a good idea, really it did, but I'm astounded by how much harder it is to run a house and family when that's all I have to do. How can a former ball-busting middle management nazi NOT be able to keep the laundry hampers empty? Why is planning dinner so much harder when I have all day to do it instead of just the 30 minute drive home? I've started to realize that my big problem is "brain clutter" too many ideas and no one to share them with. I've been kicking the whole blog idea around for awhile, okay only a week, but still, a lot of thought has gone into it. If I let the notion sit for a spell a friend would sneak in and give it a good swift boot. This morning I realized this is the perfect place to dump my brain clutter! I'll dump it all right here, on anyone who'll read it! Heehee!
